Nottingham Forest Football Club
Nottingham Forest Football Club is one of English football’s most famous and storied institutions, based in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire. Known as "Forest" or "The Reds," the club plays its home matches at the historic City Ground, situated on the banks of the River Trent, which has been their home stadium since 1898.
Founded in 1865 by shin-guard pioneer Sam Widdowson and a group of shinty players, Nottingham Forest is one of the oldest professional football clubs in the world. Dressed in their iconic "Garibaldi Red" shirts—named in honor of Italian revolutionary Giuseppe Garibaldi—the club won its first FA Cup in 1898, establishing an enduring legacy in the English game.
