Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is France’s most successful, iconic, and internationally recognized football club, based in the capital city of Paris. Universally known as "Les Parisiens" (The Parisians) or "Les Rouge-et-Bleu" (The Red-and-Blues), the club plays its home matches at the historic 48,000-capacity Parc des Princes.
Founded in 1970 following the merger of Paris FC and Stade Saint-Germain, the club traditionally plays in navy blue and red shirts, originally designed by iconic fashion designer Daniel Hechter.
