Arsenal FC is one of English football’s absolute giants, based in North London and a permanent fixture in the Premier League. While officially named Arsenal Football Club, fans globally know them as "The Gunners"—a nod to the cannon on their crest and their industrial origins.

The club's roots trace back to 1886, founded by munitions workers at the Royal Arsenal in Woolwich, South London. In 1913, the team relocated north across the Thames to the legendary Highbury Stadium before moving to their modern 60,000-seat home, the Emirates Stadium, in 2006. Their iconic red shirts with white sleeves have remained a symbol of the club for decades.

Arsenal holds a historic record unmatched in English football: they have spent the longest continuous period in the top flight, spanning well over a century without a single relegation. The most legendary chapter in their modern history came during the 2003/04 season, when Arsène Wenger’s side went the entire 38-game league campaign undefeated. Dubbed "The Invincibles," no team in the modern Premier League era has managed to repeat this achievement. The club added to their illustrious history by claiming another Premier League title in the 2025/26 season, bringing their total league championship tally to fourteen.
